Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such Clover and TOAST.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience while promoting menu items and specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and processing transactions swiftly and accurately.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while complying with alcohol regulations.
- Restock bar supplies promptly to ensure smooth service during busy hours; assist with catering or food service when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and ensure seamless operations during events or peak hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover, or TOAST POS; strong cash handling skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special event shifts.
- Must possess and present a current Washington State MAST Certificate and Washington State Food Handlers certificate.
- Verifiable references required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
