Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic, evolving team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS to ensure accurate billing.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable, supporting catering or banquet events as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in dining or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations gracefully.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety regulations and proper alcohol serving practices
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience in catering or banquet environments is a plus, along with retail math skills for inventory management.
