Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our Barricade crew. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing cocktails, serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for our guests. Your ability to multitask, have attention for detail, and maintain a comfortable environment for our patrons is key.

Hourly pay increases after training, this position earns tips.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Follow Idaho liquor laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and customer seating area.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly service and welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, assisting with restocking as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
• Utilize Square POS system for order processing and payment transactions efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or bartending is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe environment for guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• A willingness to help team members and contribute positively to the work environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
