Position Overview
The Bartender at Brothers Smokehouse is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and delivering exceptional service to both guests and staff. This role requires speed, accuracy, and a great personality to match our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Provide friendly, professional service while engaging with guests and promoting menu and drink specials
• Take orders from bar guests and service tickets from servers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, and equipment
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all laws
• Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies as needed
• Handle cash transactions, balance drawer, and complete end-of-shift reports
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be at least 21 years old
• TIPS (or equivalent) certification preferred
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment
This is a fast-paced, high-volume, guest-facing role. Bartenders should be comfortable standing for long periods, lifting kegs or cases, and multitasking under pressure.

Compensation

• $10/hour base wage + tips
• Tips are earned in addition to base pay and belong to the employee

Pay: $10.00 per hour
