Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
- Monitor guest intoxication levels responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol serving policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at events like banquets or catering functions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for change, and maintain accountability for all cash handling activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or large events such as weddings or nightclub nights.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Experience with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Previous roles involving catering or retail math demonstrate your ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or hospitality industry standards is a plus; experience in food industry settings is preferred.
