Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and upselling drinks to enhance their experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for accurate order processing, cash handling, and billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in high-energy settings like nightclubs or banquet events.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to coordinate catering services or banquet setups when needed.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling is essential.
• Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Proven customer service skills with an emphasis on creating positive guest interactions in fast-paced settings.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Experience with retail math for accurate cash reconciliation and sales tracking.
