Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality presentation.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle cash transactions confidently, balancing registers at shift end while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Support catering events, banquets, or nightclubs by serving food and beverages efficiently while managing multiple tables or stations.

Skills

• TIPS Certificate or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; capable of basic math for accurate sales and cash handling.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising quality or safety.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
• Ability to work in fast-paced settings like nightclubs or banquet halls while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Familiarity with retail math for inventory control and sales tracking; experience with brewing or catering is a plus.
