Bartender

Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure correct billing and change distribution
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations during serving and food handling
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience
• Support catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions by serving drinks promptly and professionally
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with retail math is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in fast-paced settings
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
• Fine dining or hospitality experience is advantageous; prior nightclub or catering experience is a bonus
• Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to foster guest satisfaction
