Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drink options to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Toast POS
• Ensure responsible serving by verifying IDs and adhering to alcohol service regulations
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware efficiently during shifts to keep the bar fully equipped
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service support during the day
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster a welcoming environment
• Keep accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and shift reports to support operational efficiency

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient transactions
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculation
• Basic understanding of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests seamlessly
