Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Must have weekend availability.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate Toast POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage trends within the food industry.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Proficient in cash handling and retail math for accurate transaction processing.
