BARTENDER / SPIRITS SPECIALIST – BARDSTOWN, KENTUCKY

Our Bardstown, Kentucky, Tasting Room is located in the heart of a small-town, hospitable, and spirited community with a specialty in bourbon.

The Spirits Specialist is an energetic and personable representative that conveys the brand history to guests and provides exceptional customer service for an incredible beverage experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Greet and serve bar and restaurant patrons by assessing needs and learning preferences to make recommendations on beverage selections both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
• Interact with guests by answering questions and providing historical information on the brands and industry
• Select and mix drink ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve specialty beverage blends to guests
• Assist in the planning of the bar menu and any order needs
• Maintain an organized bar space by restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
• Verify age requirements for alcoholic beverage purchases
• Complete guest transactions handling various payment methods
• Effectively communicate with guests and build rapport to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Resolve any guest complaints or objections in a professional manner

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 2 or more years of bartending experience within a craft cocktail environment
• Ability to legally serve alcohol and meet state requirements
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of beverage mixing tools and techniques and an eagerness to learn
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Technical savvy and ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) software
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work shift schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
