Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, creativity, and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service; address any issues professionally.
• Restock bar inventory efficiently, tracking supplies and communicating needs to management promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques; experience with brewing or food industry standards is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and retail math calculations.
• Previous experience in hospitality roles involving serving, catering, or retail math enhances your suitability for this position.
