Bartender

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
• Restock supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, glassware, and garnishes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events like catering or banquets.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
• Experience with serving food in addition to beverages is a plus; knowledge of catering or food industry standards is beneficial.
