Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring an outstanding customer experience from order to completion.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, billing, and cash handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety standards.
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; perform cashiering duties including cash handling and credit card processing.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
  • Manage time effectively during high-volume periods to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining quality standards.
  • Uphold all food safety regulations related to food handling, food industry best practices, and alcohol service.
  • Assist in setting up for special events such as nightclubs or private functions to create an inviting atmosphere.

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and cash handling procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws.
  • Experience serving in fast-paced environments requiring excellent time management skills.
  • Background in retail math, basic math skills, or hospitality operations enhances efficiency in transactions and inventory management.
  • Exposure to brewing processes or catering services is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
