General Description

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, taking food orders, and delivering prompt, friendly service to residents and guests. This position plays an important role in the overall dining experience, ensuring the bar area operates efficiently and that all guests feel welcome and well cared for.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a Bartender:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to residents and guests according to recipes and standards.
  • Take food orders at the bar, enter them accurately into the POS system, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment and surfaces.
  • Follow all company safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies.
  • Engage with residents and guests in a friendly, professional manner, building rapport and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Handle transactions, process payments, and provide accurate billing.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and act responsibly in accordance with local laws and company guidelines.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking, and daily bar setup or breakdown as needed.
