Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure precise transactions.
• Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age laws and responsible serving practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions to coordinate service seamlessly.
• Uphold all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic demeanor that energizes the crowd.
• Experience in fine dining, nightclub environments, or banquet settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, food handling, and basic math for transactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like catering or large banquets.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts such as sales tracking and cash handling to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
