Bartender

Lokal Eatery & Bar in Jersey City is looking for "upscale or fine dining" experienced Bartenders that strongly believe in going above and beyond in their customer service.

We are seeking individuals with at least 3+ solid years of bartending/mixology at an upscale or fine dining restaurant that can bring their own individual experience to be part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve customers
• Anticipate customers needs
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

- Inventory management

- par levels and weekly planning

- ensure consistency across the board

- supervise/mentor/train other bartenders

- ensure cleanliness across the bar on a daily/weekly basis

Requirements

• MUST HAVE SOLID 3 YEARS BARTENDING EXPERIENCE AT UPSCALE OR FINE DINING RESTAURANT
• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving specialty drinks
• Wine and Spirits knowledge
• POS systems
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean throughout the shift
