Bartender

Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Bartender, where your energy and passion for exceptional service will create memorable experiences for our guests. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate intervention protocols.
  • Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure seamless service without delays.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; perform basic math calculations for change and totals.
  • Uphold all food safety standards related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Assist in setting up bar areas for special events such as nightclubs or large gatherings, ensuring all equipment is operational.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; prior retail math or cash handling experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with brewing processes is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to all food safety laws and alcohol regulations.
  • Experience working in the food industry or hospitality environment; previous catering or banquet experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, billing, and inventory management; understanding of retail math concepts preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or restaurants.

Pay: $7.50 - $10.00 per hour
