Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including food safety and food handling protocols.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of drinks and excellent service throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management.
• Previous experience in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus.
