Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team in our Rooftop in Midtown east! Availability Wednesday to Sunday is a Must. In this role, you will craft memorable experiences for our guests by mixing and serving beverages with precision and flair. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, combined with your excellent customer service skills, will help create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment, you’ll be the heart of the social scene, ensuring every guest feels valued and entertained. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, accurately, and responsibly using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions.
• Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with catering or banquet setups as needed.
• Ensure responsible serving practices by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and adhering to alcohol service laws.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy nights or special events like nightclub nights or banquets.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast; experience with cash handling and retail math is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days such as catering functions.
• Previous experience in food industry roles like food service or hospitality is advantageous; beverage brewing or bartending certifications are a plus.
