Verdure Kitchen & Cocktails is a distinctive oasis where Western and African ingredients, spices and cooking unite to form an unforgettable culinary experience. The restaurant is led by Chef Jean Louis Sangare, renowned for his distinctive & diverse culinary cuisine.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced, reliable bartender who understands both service and speed. This role is ideal for someone who can handle high-volume nights, maintain consistency, and create a welcoming, engaging bar environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during high-volume service
- Engage with guests and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor and maintain bar inventory, including tracking usage, restocking, and notifying management of low stock
- Assist with daily inventory counts and ensure proper storage and organization of all bar items
- Manage bar setup, breakdown, and cleanliness
- Monitor inventory and communicate low stock items
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and policies
- Work closely with servers and management to maintain smooth operations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bartending experience (high-volume preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Punctual, professional, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be available nights, weekends, peak hours, and holidays as needed
