Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions seamlessly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and policies
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service requests and coordinate catering or banquet beverage needs when applicable

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; retail math and food industry knowledge are advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and energetically
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with serving at events like banquets or catering is preferred; retail or hospitality experience is highly valued
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work as part of a team in fast-paced settings
