Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and maintain accurate cash handling records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks
• Previous experience working with beverage preparation equipment like brewing machines or cocktail tools is a plus
• Knowledge of the food industry, hospitality standards, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
