Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drink experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You will also play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. In the state of Ohio, you must be at least 21 years old to serve liquor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
• Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Process payments accurately using cash registers or Square POS systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and food safety standards.
• Assist with banquet services as needed, including setting up bars for events.
• Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere while providing prompt service.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to handle food safely.
• Strong basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
