Job Overview - PART TIME WEEKEND BARTENDER

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and food handling regulations
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service laws
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
• Collaborate with team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food industry standards
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with retail math and cash handling is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service times
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales transactions and beverage measurements
• Experience in catering or food service environments; familiarity with brewing or hospitality industries is advantageous
