Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all safety and quality standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while complying with liquor laws and responsible serving policies
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events like catering or banquets, ensuring timely delivery of orders

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; retail math skills are a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications in food service settings
• Previous experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; beverage knowledge including brewing is advantageous
