Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and food handling regulations.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and processing payments swiftly.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service, especially in nightclub or banquet environments.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, while tracking inventory levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to support catering functions or special events such as banquets or private parties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math purposes.
