Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and cocktails.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, processing payments, and balancing registers at the end of each shift.
• Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure all ingredients are fresh and available for service.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible drinking; coordinate with security or management when necessary.
• Assist with food service when required, including serving snacks or small plates during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments; retail math skills are a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service abilities to create welcoming atmospheres that encourage repeat visits.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions accurately.
