Bartender

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a lively and welcoming environment.
• Manage cash register operations, including cashiering and cash handling, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices and prevent over-serving.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering, banquet, or nightclub events, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Keep track of inventory levels for beverages and supplies, restocking as needed while minimizing waste through effective time management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
