Bartender

Camp Aramoni is seeking enthusiastic members to join our bar service team. Our Bartenders are pivotal in crafting drinks according to exact recipes, ensuring their stations are well-organized, handling essential side duties, and providing outstanding guest service. Essential qualities for this role include a friendly and adaptable demeanor and the ability to juggle various tasks at once. At Camp Aramoni, our bartenders have the unique opportunity to showcase their skills across multiple settings, from our event venue Bricks & Stones to The Burlington bar at our campground, promising a diverse and fulfilling bartending experience.

Pay: $9/Hour Base + Tips

Season Availability: This is a seasonal role from May to November, requiring flexibility to work weekends and weekdays.

Experience:

No prior bartending experience? No problem! We're ready to train eager learners. While we value prior customer service experience, it's not a strict requirement.

• Qualifications: Candidates should be punctual, possess a strong work ethic, and have reliable transportation. The role is physically active, involving extended periods of standing and walking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Master bar setup, operation, and cleanup processes.
• Prepare bar essentials such as syrups, fruits, and garnishes, including sourcing from our garden when applicable.
• Craft classic and signature cocktails, understand wine service principles.
• Ensure the bar and service areas remain spotless.
• Manage glassware, including setup, polishing, and stocking.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest accommodations as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance or cleanliness issues.
• Monitor and minimize waste and spoilage; ensure proper disposal of trash.
• Uphold the cleanliness of both public and service areas.
• Be well-informed about Camp Aramoni, local areas, and competitors.
• Have a thorough understanding of the food and beverage offerings, including sourcing and preparation.
• Efficiently use the POS system for order entry.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings, staying informed on guest lists, special requests, and events.
• Address guest concerns promptly and efficiently, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
