Bartender

Chipshot is Jacksonville’s destination for indoor pickleball, golf simulators, and gastropub dining. We combine competitive indoor sports with craft food, a self-pour beer wall, and an incredible guest experience.

Position Summary

The Bartender at Chipshot is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service, high-quality beverages, and a friendly, energetic presence behind the bar. This role combines classic bartending skills with Chipshot’s upbeat, entertainment-focused atmosphere.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience

• Provide welcoming, attentive, and personalized service to all guests
• Engage with customers in a friendly, upbeat manner that reflects Chipshot’s brand
• Educate guests on menu offerings, specialty cocktails, and venue experiences

Bartending & Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe standards
• Maintain expert knowledge of drink menu, seasonal specials, and featured items
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all legal requirements

Bar Operations

• Set up, stock, and maintain bar stations throughout the shift
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all bar areas
• Manage transactions and operate POS systems accurately
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or restock needs

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required (entertainment, sports bar, or hospitality preferred)
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Must meet all state/local age requirements for alcohol service
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs
