Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and attentive service.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations and promoting safe drinking practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, balancing registers at shift end while managing retail math calculations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure timely food and beverage delivery.

Skills

• Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; previous food industry or hospitality experience is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and authentically.
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while multitasking between serving drinks, taking orders, and processing payments.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Experience with serving at large events like banquets or catering functions is a plus.
