Bartender Job DescriptionPosition Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks according to customer preferences
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Verify customer age and ensure responsible alcohol service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and work areas
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and supplies as needed
• Process payments and operate the POS system accurately
• Monitor customer behavior and address issues appropriately
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
• Assist with opening and closing duties

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking and cash-handling abilities
• Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to work in a busy, high-energy environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
