Bartender

We are seeking a professional, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team for banquet events and select restaurant shifts. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment.

The Bartender will engage with guests, recommend beverages and menu items, prepare classic cocktails and specialty drinks, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Learn guest preferences, answer questions, and make beverage and menu recommendations.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
• Mix ingredients, garnish drinks, and ensure consistent presentation and quality.
• Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service areas.
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Assist with banquet bar setup, breakdown, and event service as needed.
• Wash glassware, utensils, and bar equipment while maintaining cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with restaurant and banquet staff to ensure excellent guest experiences.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience preferred; banquet or event experience is a plus.
• Must meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Professional appearance with a positive, outgoing personality.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math and computer/POS system knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of drink preparation techniques, bar tools, and cocktail recipes.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
• Additional certifications or alcohol service training may be required depending on state regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Night shift

Experience:

• Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
