Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
• Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and speed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations, including proper food handling and responsible serving practices
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with setup for special events like banquets or catering functions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS for sales transactions
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without sacrificing quality of service
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately
• Experience serving in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus
• Basic understanding of brewing processes or beverage preparation techniques is beneficial
