Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by crafting high-quality beverages and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Starting at $8/hour + tips!

Shifts:

Wednesday 4:00-Close

Thursday: 4:00-Close

Friday: 2:00-Close

Saturday & Sunday 11:00-Close

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
• Process orders efficiently using harbor touch POS or other point-of-sale systems.
• Assist with banquet services as needed, ensuring timely service during events.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible serving practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or the food industry is mandatory.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
• Familiarity with fine dining service standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in using POS systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others to create an enjoyable experience for guests.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations.
