Bartender

Jake n Joes in Norwood is looking to hire experienced bartenders who love sports to provide an excellent guest experience.

Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding guest needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips.

Weekend work availability required, mid-week work availability is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages for bar and restaurant patrons, including cocktails, wine, beer and other beverages
• Interact with guests, take orders and food and drinks
• Assess guest needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check guest identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age, following all established protocols
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all beverage regulations

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• TIPS Certification Required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $42.00 per hour
