Bartender

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender/to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and hospitality industry, possess excellent customer service skills, and be knowledgeable in bartending techniques.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions using POS systems like Aloha POS
- Upsell drinks and promote specials to increase sales
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service
- Monitor customer intake of alcohol and respond to any issues

Requirements:

- Proven experience working as a Bartender in a catering or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
