Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits
- Manage POS systems such as Toast for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement responsible serving practices
- Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions by preparing drinks or serving guests as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for change, and maintain accurate sales records
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food handling and beverage service
- Familiarity with Toast POS system for efficient sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising quality
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements and company policies
- Basic math skills for quick calculations related to billing, tips, or inventory management
- Previous restaurant or retail experience preferred; experience in brewing or hospitality is a plus
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth operations
