Patria Mezcaleria is looking for an energetic, reliable, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team. This position involves both bartending and table service responsibilities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

One Saturday per month, we host a late-night event featuring live DJs and a high-energy atmosphere. Candidates should be comfortable working occasional late-night shifts during special events.

We are looking for someone who can provide excellent guest experiences, work efficiently during busy shifts, and contribute positively to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, team-oriented, and comfortable multitasking between the bar and serving tables. Experience with cocktails, mezcal, tequila, and high-volume service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, mezcal, tequila, and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and efficiently
• Take food and drink orders from guests at the bar and assigned tables
• Provide attentive and professional customer service
• Prepare basic bar mixes, syrups, garnishes, and cocktail batches
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining areas, and service stations
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, ice, garnishes, and supplies throughout shifts
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Follow alcohol safety guidelines and responsible serving practices
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth service
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance during all shifts

Qualifications

• Previous bartending and/or restaurant experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of classic cocktails and basic bar preparation
• Weekend and evening availability required
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
