After four successful years in Hermosa Beach, Chef Ray Hayashi’s RYLA has become a destination for thoughtful hospitality, vibrant energy, and globally inspired cuisine. Rooted in the cultural diversity of Los Angeles, RYLA blends creative Asian flavors with refined French technique and genuine Southern California hospitality to create a dining experience Guests remember long after the night ends.

We are currently seeking magnetic, passionate, experienced, and motivated Servers to join our team and continue elevating the standard of hospitality that has defined RYLA since opening.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant with a strong food and beverage culture. We are looking for individuals who are true food and hospitality enthusiasts , team members who thrive on building genuine relationships with Guests through thoughtful, engaging, and intuitive service. Strong Liquor, Wine and Sake knowledge is essential to confidently guide Guests through our curated and dynamic beverage program.

All candidates should lead with humility, professionalism, integrity, and respect, while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

A flexible schedule is preferred, with availability for dinner service and Friday/Saturday/Sunday brunch required.

Most importantly, we are looking for people who are passionate about hospitality and excited to share the RYLA experience with every Guest. If you love introducing Guests to new dishes, cocktails, and wines while creating memorable experiences, we would love to meet you.
