Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, energetic bartender to join our growing restaurant team in downtown Grand Junction. We’re seeking someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating a welcoming, upbeat experience for guests.

This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, personable, works well under pressure, and understands that bartending is just as much about hospitality and teamwork as it is making drinks.

Schedule:

Part-time hours available

Typical shifts range between:

- 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM during regular business days

- Later evening hours on weekends

- Sunday breakfast/brunch shifts: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Weekend and evening availability strongly preferred.

Pay:

Tip minimum wage + tips

+ percentage of server tips

Strong earning potential depending on experience, availability, and performance.

Responsibilities & Expected Tasks:

- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks consistently and efficiently

- Provide friendly and attentive guest service at the bar and throughout the restaurant

- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout shifts

- Show up on time, prepared, and ready to work each shift

- Assist servers and support overall restaurant flow during busy periods

- Use downtime productively by restocking, cleaning, prepping garnishes, folding boxes, polishing glassware, and helping the team where needed

- Assist with pre-bussing tables and supporting front-of-house operations when necessary

- Help maintain a positive, professional, non-gossip work environment

- Keep up with date marking, rotating product, and maintaining cleanliness standards

- Refill supplies, syrups, mixers, ice, cups, and bar ingredients as needed

- Follow liquor laws responsibly and check IDs appropriately

- Help create an energetic and welcoming atmosphere for guests

Qualifications:

- Previous bartending experience preferred

- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and basic bar operations preferred

- Strong multitasking and communication skills

- Ability to stay composed during high-volume rushes

- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented mindset

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
