Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions securely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety within the venue
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments; retail math skills are a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings such as nightclubs or large events
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management
• Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector; catering or banquet experience is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work well within a team environment including roles involving serving food and beverage in diverse settings
