About Silverbelly Whiskey

Silverbelly Whiskey is a premium spirit. We are opening a brand-new distillery in the heart of downtown Nashville and are looking for someone who takes immense pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience every single shift.

About the Role

As a Bartender at Silverbelly, you are the heartbeat of the bar experience. You craft exceptional cocktails, pour world-class whiskey, and make every single guest feel like the most important person in the room. You know the Silverbelly story inside and out — and you tell it with every pour.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $12, plus tips
• Hours: 10 am – 10 pm business hours, 8 hour shifts

Guest Experience

• Welcome every guest with genuine enthusiasm and make them feel at home from the first interaction
• Engage guests with knowledge of Silverbelly Whiskey, and Tennessee whiskey culture
• Deliver personalized cocktail recommendations based on guest preferences and mood
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with warmth and professionalism
• Ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience and a reason to return

Bar Operations

• Craft cocktails and pour spirits with consistency, speed, and precision during all service hours
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and presentation to brand standards at all times
• Complete opening and closing bar duties
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to all ABC regulations and TIPS standards
• Accurately handle cash, card transactions, and POS operations
• Communicate actively with floor staff and management to ensure seamless service flow
• Assist with private events, tastings, and special brand activations held at the distillery

Brand Representation

• Embody the Silverbelly brand in appearance, attitude, and every guest interaction
• Educate guests on Silverbelly Whiskey products, tasting notes, and distillery experiences
• Support on-site retail by upselling spirits, merchandise, and distillery packages
• Maintain open communication with management on bar performance and guest feedback

Who You Are

• You are magnetic behind the bar — fast, precise, and always in command of the room
• You have a genuine passion for whiskey and love sharing that enthusiasm with every guest
• You stay cool under pressure and keep service moving no matter how busy it gets
• You are reliable, punctual, and take immense pride in the craft of bartending
• You have 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume entertainment venue
• You are comfortable working evenings, weekends, and during special events
• TIPS/TABC certification preferred — or willingness to obtain before start date
• Valid driver's license required, social security card or passport
