Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and personalized drink recommendations.
• Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages to ensure smooth operations.
• Operate POS systems efficiently for orders, payments, and cash handling while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for billing and change.
• Collaborate with team members during busy nights or events like banquets or catering to deliver seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or in food service/hospitality is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of POS system to process transactions swiftly.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with an approachable attitude that makes guests feel welcome.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and sales calculations.
