Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Beertender to join our team! In this role, you will craft memorable experiences by providing exceptional customer service, and creating a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Duties

• Serve a variety of craft beer from our rotating tap list. Our tap list changes daily, so staying on top of what is on tap is a must.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders accurately and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Learn kitchen procedures and basic food preparation.
• Operate Toast POS system to process transactions efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
• Clean tap lines. Change couplers on tap lines as needed.
• Update back office POS and Untapped.
• Restock supplies as needed, including beer on retails shelves & in reach in cooler, pop, wine, and glassware, to keep the bar fully equipped at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to work efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience in bars, breweries or restaurants is highly desirable.
• Craft beer knowledge is preferred, but not required.
• Full time position 35+ hours.
• Must be available nights and weekends.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management during high-volume periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Must be at least 21 years old with the ability to serve alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal requirements related to serving beverages.
