Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and enhancing their overall experience.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate billing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in lively settings like nightclubs or banquet events.
• Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering or banquet services, ensuring seamless coordination during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations; knowledge of alcohol laws is a plus.
• Previous retail math or hospitality experience is advantageous; certifications in food safety or responsible alcohol service are a plus.
