Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including billing and change dispersal
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including nights and weekends
• Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations for events like banquets or private functions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality setting; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order entry and payment processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills or tips accurately
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special events like catering or banquets
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations
