Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create exceptional experiences for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, food safety, and effective communication skills to thrive in a fine dining or nightclub setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and inventory management. We are switching to Toast, so Toast knowledge is a plus.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries promptly.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in drink preparation and service.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events, catering services, or special functions as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and maintain a seamless dining experience for guests.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality by fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage trends within the food industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Experience with retail math concepts is beneficial for managing inventory effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence are required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $50.00 per hour
