Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires proficiency in Square Point of Sale (POS) system. A strong understanding of food safety and safe handling practices is a must. Experience in fast paced bars, nightclubs, or catering is highly desirable. TIPS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor and supplies.
• Operate POS system (Square) efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines while handling food and beverages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar or dining area.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is required, at least 2 years.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests positively.
• Collaboration with co-workers and ability to maintain healthy relationships as a team is required.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and safe alcohol serving certification is required.
